Marketing is the work of making a product easy to choose.
It is not advertising alone. Advertising is one of the last steps, and it fails when the steps before it are skipped. Most of the value comes from decisions made earlier: who the product is for, what it costs, what it promises, and where that promise is easiest to hear.
It starts with the market, not the message
Before anything is designed, there is a simple question to answer: who buys this, how often, and instead of what. Answering it properly narrows the audience, and a narrow audience makes every later choice cheaper. A campaign aimed at everyone costs the most and convinces the fewest.
The offer does more work than the creative
Price, guarantee, delivery, payment terms and packaging are marketing decisions. A clearer offer often lifts results more than a new campaign, and it can be tested in one market before it is rolled out across the region.
Channels are a means, not a plan
Search, social, television, outdoor, email, trade fairs and word of mouth each reach people at a different moment. The plan decides which moments matter for this product, then puts the budget where those moments happen. Being present everywhere at low volume usually means being noticed nowhere.
Measurement decides what continues
Marketing spend is only as good as the record of what came back. With tracking in place from the start, cost per enquiry, per sale and per retained customer are all visible, and the budget can move toward what works while a campaign is still running.
Demand is captured or created, rarely both at once
Some budget goes to people already looking for the product, which is cheap and limited by how many of them exist. The rest goes to people who are not looking yet, which is slower and larger. Confusing the two is the most common reason a plan underdelivers, so we separate them and fund each on its own terms.
Brand and performance are the same budget
Work that builds recognition makes later performance spend cheaper, because a known name converts at a lower cost. We plan them together rather than treating brand as what is left over once the ads are paid for.
Repeat buyers are the cheapest growth
Keeping an existing customer usually costs a fraction of finding a new one, so retention, after-sales contact and reordering are treated as marketing work rather than as somebody else's problem.
Consistency beats volume
A modest budget spent steadily for a year outperforms the same money spent in three bursts. Recognition builds through repetition, and repetition is a scheduling decision more than a creative one.
One team for the whole marketing job.
Most clients come to us with a target and a budget rather than a brief. We work out what the money should buy, then buy it, run it and report on it.
Strategy and positioning
Market and competitor reading, audience definition, pricing and offer sharpening, then a plan with numbers attached: what we spend, on which channels, and what it should return.
Brand and creative
Naming, identity, messaging and campaign concepts. Copy and design produced in Bulgarian, English and Albanian, written for each market rather than translated at the end.
Digital and performance
Paid search and social, landing pages, email and CRM flows, analytics and tracking set up properly so the reporting can be trusted. Weekly optimisation, monthly review.
Media and production
Media planning and buying across TV, radio, outdoor and print, plus photo, video and print production through suppliers we contract directly at rates we can show you.
Events and trade fairs
Launches, stands and sponsorship activations: venue, build, staffing, logistics and follow up, handled from the first plan to the post-event numbers.
Business and commercial representation
For companies without a presence in the region, we present the business locally, keep contact with clients and partners between visits, and represent it in meetings and negotiations.
Sectors we know well.
We are not tied to one industry, but the categories below come up most often, and each carries its own rules about what may be advertised, how a price may be shown and how a lead has to be handled.
Consumer goods and retail
Launches, distribution support, seasonal campaigns and in-store visibility, planned around stock and delivery rather than around a calendar of ideas.
Health and medical services
Patient acquisition for clinics and providers, handled within advertising restrictions on medical claims, with enquiry handling and follow up treated as part of the campaign.
Financial and professional services
Regulated categories where every claim, disclaimer and landing page has to survive review. We build the compliance step into production instead of bolting it on at the end.
Real estate and construction
Project marketing from pre-sales to handover: positioning, pricing presentation, viewing generation and the long follow up that property enquiries need.
Hospitality and tourism
Seasonal demand, direct bookings against platform commission, and campaigns aimed at source markets rather than at the country the business sits in.
B2B and industrial
Long sales cycles with few buyers: trade fairs, targeted outreach, technical content and the commercial representation that keeps a relationship alive between orders.
Bulgaria first, the region when it makes sense.
Sofia is our base and Bulgaria is our main market. Through the Tirana branch we also cover Albania directly, and we run campaigns into neighbouring markets where a client already has distribution or a partner in place.
Bulgaria
Full delivery: strategy, creative, digital, media buying, production and events, with local suppliers under our own contracts and invoicing from Sofia.
Albania
Delivered by our registered branch in Tirana, under the same plan and the same reporting. Useful as a smaller market to test an offer before committing budget elsewhere.
Neighbouring markets
Campaigns adapted per country rather than copied across borders, run with partners we select and manage. Language, price expectations and buying habits change at every border, and the plan changes with them.
Entering a market for the first time
Where a company has no presence yet, we start with business and commercial representation: a local point of contact, meetings, partner search and a first read of the market, before any campaign money is spent.
How a project runs.
The same sequence applies whether the work is a single campaign or a full year of marketing. Nothing is produced before the plan behind it is agreed.
-
Brief and audit
We go through the product, the pricing, past results and whatever data already exists, then agree on the target: enquiries, sales, distribution or awareness, expressed as a number.
-
Plan and budget
A written plan sets out the audience, the message, the channels, the split of spend and the expected cost per result, plus what we do if the first numbers disagree with the plan.
-
Build
Creative, copy, landing pages, tracking and supplier contracts are produced and approved. Everything is in place and tested before spend starts.
-
Run and adjust
The campaign goes live in stages. We read results weekly, cut what underperforms, and put the freed budget behind what is working.
-
Report and decide
A monthly report shows spend, results and cost per result against the plan, with a recommendation for the next period. You decide whether to hold, scale or stop.
Four ways to work with us.
Most clients start with a project and move to a retainer once the plan is proven. All four are contracted in writing, with a defined scope and a fixed monthly or project fee. Media budget is always separate from our fee and reported at cost.
Retainer
A fixed monthly scope covering planning, creative, channel management and reporting. Best where marketing runs continuously and the team needs to be part of your week rather than called in.
Project
One launch, campaign, rebrand or event, quoted and delivered against a defined outcome and date. A clean way to test how we work before committing to anything longer.
Representation mandate
We act as your local presence: correspondence address, meetings, partner and client contact, and reporting back to your head office. Marketing delivery can sit on top of it or stay separate.
Advisory
For teams that will execute internally. We build the plan, the budget split and the measurement framework, then review results with you monthly while your people run the work.
Small team, direct answers.
You talk to the person doing the work
No account layer between you and delivery. Questions get answered the same working day, in Bulgarian, English or Albanian.
Scoped before it starts
Every engagement begins with a written scope, a budget and a reporting rhythm, so you always know what is being spent and what came back from it.
Numbers over adjectives
Reporting shows spend, results and cost per result. If a channel is not paying, we say so and move the budget.
Registered and invoiceable
We operate from a fixed office in Sofia, entered in the Bulgarian commercial register, with documentation your finance team and auditors can file.
Two offices, one team.
Marketing Services Limited is a limited liability company registered in Sofia and operating since 2019. Our registered scope of business is business representation, marketing activity, commercial representation, as well as any other activity permitted by law.
The company also runs a registered branch in Tirana, Marketing Services Limited - Dega ne Shqiperi, which covers the Albanian market under the same scope. Work can be planned once and delivered in both markets, with contracts and invoicing handled by whichever entity suits the client.
Questions we get asked first.
What does a campaign cost?
Our fee depends on scope and is agreed before anything starts. Media budget is separate and set by the target: reaching a national audience on television is a different order of spend from generating a few hundred qualified enquiries online. After a first conversation we send a written proposal with both figures, so you can compare them against the result we expect.
Do you take commission from media?
Media is billed at cost and shown to you with the supplier documentation behind it. We are paid by you, not by the channels, which keeps the recommendation about what works rather than about what pays us more.
How soon do results appear?
Demand capture, such as paid search, can produce enquiries within days of going live. Work that creates demand takes longer and is judged over months, not weeks. The plan states which part of the budget is expected to return quickly and which part is building something slower, so nothing is measured on the wrong clock.
Can you work with our internal team or existing agency?
Yes. We often handle strategy, media and reporting while an internal team keeps production, or take one channel while others stay where they are. Responsibilities are written down at the start so nothing falls between the two teams.
What do you need from us to start?
The product and pricing, whatever sales and campaign data already exists, the target for the period, and one person on your side who can approve work. Access to advertising and analytics accounts if they exist, or we create them in your name.
Who owns the accounts and the creative?
You do. Advertising, analytics and social accounts are set up under your ownership with us given access, and finished creative is handed over in editable format. If we stop working together, nothing has to be rebuilt.
Send us the target and the budget.
